Corporate Strategic Partners The
Wisconsin Angel Network (WAN) is continually
developing new opportunities to help connect
entrepreneurs and investors. In that same spirit,
WAN is featuring our newest membership category,
Corporate Strategic Partners. Corporate Strategic
Partners (CSP) are companies that have an interest
and history of making strategic investments and/or
forming joint ventures with start-up companies.
Joint ventures with strategic partners can be a
great source of capital, access to distribution
channels, and assistance with product development.
Strategic partners can also provide an exit
strategy for investors through acquisitions.
Entrepreneurs
Expand your financing and sales options by
allowing Corporate Strategic Partners (CSP) to
view your executive summary on the Deal-flow
Pipeline. CSP’s can only view your executive
summary if you “opt-in” by selecting the “Allow
Corporate Strategic Partners to view my executive
summary” check box on the executive summary
submission form. If you are not interested in the
CSP’s viewing your information, simply do
nothing.
Investors For
companies interested in strategic opportunities
with entrepreneurial companies, this is the
resource for you. Corporate Strategic Partners
(CSP) have access to many of Wisconsin’s most
innovative start-ups. Interested in becoming a
CSP? Sign up by clicking here.

The Wisconsin Angel Network (WAN) is continually
looking for new and innovative ways to connect investors with
entrepreneurs on the Deal-flow Pipeline (DFP). For instance,
WAN’s Corporate Strategic Partner (CSP) membership, a new
investor-avenue on the DFP, was borne out of Promega’s Laura
Francis wish to access and review deals for potential
strategic partnerships. The CSP membership gives Wisconsin
entrepreneurs a unique ability to open their investment search
to corporations as well as joint ventures. As we work to
develop this new membership type, we hope that Wisconsin
entrepreneurs find this to be a unique and useful resource
that helps them raise money and grow their businesses.
